Biblical Prophecy being fulfilled UNDERSTAND THESE EVENTS WITH YOUR BIBLE- CHRIST IS COMING AND WILL REIGN ON EARTH As Israel remembers her dead, a rabid outburst mars Holocaust Memorial Day On the eve of Israel's annual observance of 'Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day', the Iranian President, Mahmud Ahmedinejad, delivered a tirade against Israel at the UN Conference against Racism in Geneva. THE BIBLE FORETOLD THE DISPERSION AND THE RESTORATION OF ISRAEL Russia re-asserts authority over previous vassal states The Kremlin has recently re-asserted its authority over previous vassal states. This has been done by both economic and military pressures. Oil & gas have been used as an economic weapon. And the festering conflict with Georgia recently turned ugly, with Russian forces in- vading Georgian territory, having the stated aim of protecting Russian nationals in two re- bellious provinces.The impotence of western powers has been shown for all the world to see. 'Business Week' has highlighted the new threat to Western energy supplies via Georgia. This is but a precursor of the time when all of Europe will come under the sway of Russia. ALL OF THESE EVENTS ARE CONSISTENT WITH BIBLE PROPHECIES Long-delayed peace process coming closer to fruition The long-delayed Middle East peace process is coming closer to being realized. Some events have given the needed impetus as both Israeli and Palestinian politicians bow to the demand of their war-ravaged peoples. The cleavage between the two Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas has given President Abbas the opportunity to strike out independently and deal more positively with Israel. The USA has become more involved as a mediator, and has promised massive financial aid, some of which has already been delivered. Bible prophecies demand a pseudo-peace before the return of Christ. NOW IS THE TIME TO GET OUT YOUR BIBLE AND READ MORE Climate change and global warming herald further catastrophes The recent frightening acceleration in disruptive global weather patterns continues.The cha- otic events have frightened and perplexed people throughout the world. Tsunamis, floods, droughts,heat-waves,violent storms & fires have ravaged the earth.Such disasters have been made the more tragic by the intransigence of some human governments in distribution of relief supplies. Political survival has been given precedence over human misery. It is evident that the world needs the strong infallible rulership that can only occur with the imminent re- turn of Jesus Christ. Then the real needs of all peoples will be met in abundance (Psalm 72). THE PROPHETS OF ISRAEL HAVE WRITTEN MUCH ON THIS "Evolutionists" confounded by recent finds in Africa Recent finds have confounded & disturbed those who still persist in believing the disproven, illogical, and God-denying theory of "evolution". The "evolutionary tree", a supposedly true record by this theory, outlines the "progress" from primeval life up to man (homo sapiens). This "tree"prognosticates the change from 'habilis' to 'erectus' during the process. However the finding of remains from the above together disproves any "evolution"from one to the oth- er. A separate find of ancient teeth has demonstrated that apes, instead of evolving, had lived side-by-side with early humans. The "evolutionary house of cards" would appear to be in a terminal state,and the sooner people abandon it to its doom the better it will be for them! CREATION IS TRUE-EVOLUTION IS A LIE-IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A LEG IN BOTH CAMPS, AS SOME TRY TO DO- A TRUE BELIEF IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL TO SALVATION Temple find a reminder of future "House of Prayer" A recent discovery by an Israeli archaeological team is a reminder of past & future glory in the Holy Land. The report from Israeli Government Media reads: "In an excavation being carried out by the Israeli Antiquities Authority in partnership with the Western Wall Heri- tage Foundation in the northwestern part of theWesternWall plaza,a rich layer of finds from the First Temple period (8th-6th centuries BCE) was recently discovered". Although Vladimir Putin has resigned as President in March 2008, his replacement, Dmitry Medvedev, is obviously only there by direction from the ex-President. As Prime Minister, Mr. Putin still wields immense power, and is obviously in charge of all foreign policy.His bellicose utterances have chilled relations with Western powers & alarmed them. The march to dictatorship continues. It is possible that Mr.Putin may return as President in 2012, as he can do by the Russian Constitution. It may be that in another future term he will be the Russian dictator spoken of in Ezekiel 38v2RV who is destined to oppose Christ. See 'the time of the end' link above. READ YOUR BIBLE TO UNDERSTAND THESE EVENTS Britain under pressure on many fronts Great Britain is coming under increasing pressure on many fronts throughout the world.The ruling Labor party has lost much of its vast majority in Parliament. Her forces have been stretched beyond their limits in Iraq,Afghanistan etc. A deterioration in relations with Russia has accelerated. Her European partners have moved to implement a more cohesive foreign policy which may not always coincide with that of London. We are now near the time when Protestant Britain will leave the mainly Catholic EuropeanCommunity. And she will fulfil her role of opposing the Russian-Catholic led invasion of Israel, in conjunction with the USA, Commonwealth and maritime powers. But only Christ's return will eliminate the invaders. HAPPY ARE WE IF WE PUT OUR TRUST IN THE LORD Pakistan descends into political and terrorist chaos The recent assassination of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto has triggered more turmoil & chaos. Recent elections have produced a loose unity of forces at odds with the military. This constitutes a further step towards the absorption of this unhappy country into the Russian- Catholic-European confederacy that is predicted to invade Israel. There can be no peace for this long-suffering country or the world until the return of Christ, & the establishment of the Kingdom of God.This righteous rule will replace all current regimes throughout the earth. SOON THE LORD WILL BE HERE TO REDEEM HIS PEOPLE TO BE AMONG THAT BLESSED NUMBER STUDY THE BIBLE Economic collapse threatens world stability There have been spectacular economic reversals in almost all countries in the world. Human greed has been named as the greatest cause of these disasters. The savings of millions have almost overnight been slashed, and millions have lost their homes due to foreclosures. In an unprecedented move, governments the world over have moved to rescue their ailing financial institutions with the peoples' money.It is no wonder that the poor cry out for help, and where are they to turn? The advent of Jesus Christ will establish righteousness in the earth, and the physical and spiritual needs of all peoples will be met. The Bible has predicted these troubles. But we are not left without hope.The Bible also holds out the solution. Think on these words- "Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?"
